Meta launches Spaces for organizing projects with Muse agents

Meta has introduced Spaces, a new way to communicate and work with its Muse artificial intelligence agents. A Space is a separate conversation centered on a specific topic or objective. It appears in the interface sidebar, and opening it returns users to the related work.

Users can ask Muse to create a Space for projects such as vacation planning, collecting recipes for a family event, tracking holiday gifts, organizing a wedding or managing do-it-yourself tasks. Meta describes the feature as a way to turn an idea into a tracker, planner or project board.

The company says Spaces can connect to third-party applications and information sources. Once connected, they can update in the background with items such as new concert dates, price changes and savings progress. On Friday, Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on X that he had used Spaces to make a BBQ game, an event tracker and a home-control dashboard.

Meta also announced Muse Voice on Thursday, enabling video conversations with an agent and spoken commands. In October, Zuckerberg said Muse agents had 10 million users in the United States and Canada, fewer than two months after launch.
