Anthropic increases revenue sevenfold, hits annualized rate above $65 billion

Anthropic has hit an annualized revenue rate above $65 billion, based on performance through the end of July 2026, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke to Bloomberg. That's a sevenfold jump from a year earlier. The company disclosed the figures in a regular investor update, one source said.

Anthropic could go public as early as fall 2026 at a $1 trillion valuation, potentially beating OpenAI to market. The growth is massive but necessary given the infrastructure spending that depends on continued expansion. The big question is whether Anthropic can sustain this trajectory. The company reportedly projects $190 to $200 billion in revenue for 2028.
